The Practice

What guides our work

"Our work is grounded in the belief that deeper connection, with ourselves, with others, and with the living world, creates the conditions for healing, meaning and change.

For people, this may mean fostering greater awareness, belonging, grounding and more embodied ways of relating to themselves, others, and the world around them.

For organisations, it means rethinking culture, narratives, and practices in ways that are that are relational, psychologically safe, culturally aware and life-affirming."

The questions we work with

"We explore the patterns we carry, consciously and unconsciously, through our childhoods, relationships, cultures, environments and lived experiences, and how these continue to shape the way we relate to ourselves, others and the systems around us today.

Through an integrative, trauma-informed and systems-aware approach, we help people and organisations recognise how inherited narratives echo through emotions, behaviours, relationships and wider systems, creating space for greater awareness, reconnection and more intentional ways of being."

How this takes shape

"Through the weaving of counselling, psychological insight, somatic awareness , narrative practices and ecosystemic thinking, IILEYA approaches change as a living, relational and ongoing process.

Concretely, this takes shape through counselling, reflective spaces, workshops, facilitation, and relational practices that support deeper awareness, stronger relationships, meaningful and lasting change.

The impact we aim for

"The intention is a shift towards a more meaningful and connected life.

With a deeper understanding of our interconnectedness, and the ways our actions, relationships, and environments shape one another.

From there, more conscious, compassionate, and life-affirming ways of relating can emerge."

What guides the practice

"Our work is grounded in the understanding that no one exists in isolation.

Every person is shaped by relationships, histories, cultures and ecosystems.

Healing, growth and transformation emerge through connection, with ourselves, with others and with the wider living world.

This means creating culturally aware spaces where people feel heard, respected and able to belong, while recognising that healing and wellbeing are always shaped by culture, context and lived experience."
